The Socialite DJ and Mr.BlackTie Goes Eureka! Las Vegas Style with Liquid Jazz !!

It’s been four Saturdays now since The Socialite DJ and myself (Mr. Black Tie) have been spinning Liquid Jazz at the new sensation, Eureka! Since our departure from doing brunch Saturdays and Sundays Liquid Jazz at Bronze Cafe.mbt455

Yet since those days are over, The Socialite DJ and myself (Mr. Black Tie), we have been spinning Liquid Jazz and other styles of music at Eureka!eureka!101

My preference is Liquid Jazz, as for The Socialite DJ, her styles has no boundaries. She can soft rock to country if the clientele wants. But mostly when we are spinning brunch we spin Liquid Jazz. But, I myself prefer doing Liquid jazz to Latin and swing. Now as we did I have to say they (Eureka!) is claiming to have some of the very best burgers now in Las Vegas! I’m going to have to concur. lol Seriously these, ladies and gents are just boasting. After having the delight and opportunity of having the Bison Burger (bacon infused jalapeño jam / charbroiled tri-color peppers / grilled red onion / smoked mozzarella) and all I can say is freaking Brilliant!!! Eureka!  is defining the meaning of delightful fine dinning and musical moments.eureka!102

For those that truly appreciate great food, craft beer and small-batch spirits are discovering a better restaurant experience, and all I have to say is welcome to Eureka! They’ve  elevated it to an art form. In our rustic industrial environment, they  create crave able dining experiences in an approachable atmosphere while leaving enduring memories one burger at a time with Liquid Jazz for the moment! Well at the moment, at least they are doing Liquid Jazz at brunch with myself (Mr. Black Tie) and The Socialite DJ!tsde!101

I honestly don’t know if  I will be at Eureka for anytime longer than this up coming Saturday. I love the spot and such, but as a performer I know at times you get picked over or just isn’t what they want. I think they’d be making a really big mistake not keeping The Socialite DJ though, she is a brilliant DJ! I have had  a great time spinning there and I can’t wait for the next spot. Seriously I haven’t received any negative feedback about my music. But then for those who heard it loves it, and now everyone is asking what is Liquid Jazz? My Creation of Jazz I guess is the best way to define it. But the coolest thing is The Socialite DJ is perfecting it every time she gets behind the tables!

I was once asked do I ever get upset when I’m asked to step away from the turn table or when they say no your not what the company wants. In truth rejection hurts. suck’s big time lol. But I know my music makes people happy. I get compliments every time I play Liquid jazz. I can’t tell you how many times people say, “Where can I find this song?” or asking why can’t they find the song they’re hearing lol. I worked hard pushing my style of music with The Socialite DJ beside me and sometimes leading the way. I don’t know where my next gig will be, Sin City is where I began this adventure. I don’t plan on quitting anytime soon. I do hope some time soon I have a residency where everyone can come and hear Liquid Jazz! For the moment it’s at Eureka! Brunch is Saturdays 12pm to 3pm with us! Much Love and Respect to all of you Ladies and Gents! djset101

Mr. Black Tie & The Socialite DJ at the Grand Opening for Juan Muniz at Z Boutique in Zappos Headquarters Las Vegas

zapposThe very first day I met Juan Muniz was a week after I became the resident DJ for the Arts Factory Bar & Bistro. I t was also my first Friday DJing event as well. Juan Muniz introduced me to not just himself but his character Felipe. One thing about Juan Muniz, is he is an artists who is focused. Which I have met countless of them) that had or do have the talent, but no motivation, no path, no focused point. But Juan had, and still has the same path that he’s been on. Focused point on his art work, and character Felipe. Funny we kept bumping into each other, throughout the years. First Fridays I’d see him at his booth. Doing his Felipe book. While myself DJing First Friday on other gigs.1470337292976

Once in a while you wonder and think and ask, “Am I really making progress?” Well Juan Muniz did something unusual for artists and had a great grand opening of Felipe at the Z Boutique at Zappos. It was incredible seeing what had happened for him. The coolest part, I have to say was DJing for him. Juan Muniz is focused on his path. I’m proud to have known him before all the Felipe crazed. LOL. We will see each other once more! Until then.

Inside Style on Main St ..with The Socialite Dj and Mr.BlackTie

When the Abelman family asked Black Smoke to spin for their ‘Take Me Home’ grand sale event October 1, 9am – 1pm, well of course me and The Socialite DJ agreed to do it. We just had to figure out what kind of style of music we were going to spin. We decided to go with electro style with a twist of Deep House and Country! It was a great for the Grand Sale and what excellent way to start the Holiday festivities; A great buy and good music.img_20161001_09263445

So I and The Socialite JD went into the studio shop mood the night before the event. It was a long 7 hours straight. By the time we had the music just right for the event, it was 7am. We had to get ready for the event. Getting all dress and grabbing the gear, speakers and all.

We got to Inside Styles by 8:30am; it didn’t take long to set everything up. The Socialite DJ started it off. I myself went to grab some coffee and have a Cig break. She didn’t go for anything vibing yet just warming things up. But to my surprise customers began to walk in. After The Socialite DJ warmed up, I got behind the tables and started off with electro swing, Bing Crosby to Disney Aladdin, why not?

The sale was called ‘Take Me Home Warehouse Sale’. How can you go wrong with electro swing set style spinning Disney Aladdin? From there The Socialite DJ spun a beautiful set of Deep House, Country swing. From everyone who came seemed to love the style of music that was being played.

Then we did something new to our Black Smoke set, we began to just spin music choices right after each choice. We were playing all styles of swing music, from country swing to deep house. I also spun Latin style sing into the mix. The Socialite DJ followed with country and pop swing. Then we finished with our signature style Liquid Jazz set! By the time it was over there was a few more buyers coming in!

Leaving Creativity Flow at “The Nos” The Caffeine Radio Pushes Forward

When I first thought  about working at The New Orleans I had a different concept of social content. I wanted to give it a new look, something to be proud  of as well.
me105

I wanted to show people there as well as those who might want to come there something creative and something to feed off. Well, given what the area is usually known for, people wanted to see The New Orleans Square in a different view from what it use to be known for. Reason why I was hired, to do social media and content . It was great I had  a studio there, which was part of the deal.

19488512_1387648304616511_8483267056853910286_o

So I began to create content for The New Orleans square which I began to call “The Nos”. It could’ve been a great project!!

I figured visuals would be better than any content. Even though it would be more time consuming than anything else. Have you ever have to edit any kind of video? It takes foreverrrr. lol But I knew if this vid thing would work for New Orleans Square id have something  concrete for the social feed spree to view. Which seemed to be growing everyday. The people wanted more! But  any way, as I did this  the boss wasn’t to pleased. He didn’t like “The Nos”, he had issues with the videos; I was shocked and was like umm ok. He changed up the deal we had and well, I just figured this isn’t going to work. I see he didn’t hold the same vision as I did. Funny though, they’re doing a little videos here and there, and still using the term “The Nos”. nos1

I think New Orleans Square is a really cool spot, I believe there is a fit there for artists if the New Orleans Square can bring those creative  art types. But then again those who would love to be part of that live 24/7 as artists. They just don’t shut it down at night lol. Real artists are about living in their lifestyle. They breathe art, they become the art itself sometimes. Through writings, photos, and paint to what ever he or she choses to. I gave my very best to New Orleans Square. More than to my fiancé at the time. (Which is sad to admit). I practically lived there. Just to make sure “The Nos” was given the attention needed to bring life to a unique community that works there! artcenter1

I learned a lot form being there. That I need to get focused on my personal life as well as the career. Working for the New Orleans Square has taught me that one mess isn’t another’s admirations. lol But in the time of having a studio at the New Orleans Square I have figured out so much about myself. From my wants to desire’s which I have found out that they’re two different things. lol My wants are just to make my writing a career and producing thing a success. My DESIRE IS TO BE ONE OF THE VERY BEST in the DJ industry. I get it now. Which I have to say no regrets on the mistakes I have made. But I do have regrets if I have hurt anyone in the process.  mr1101

The Different Shades Of Photography …

Mr.BlackTie Goes Timeless with a Blend of Nature with NokTurnal at WWD Magic ..Project

Spice101While DJing at some very cool spots at downtown locations such as Bonze Café at the Market to new sensation Eureka!; I had the Pleasure of getting a glimpse of Nokturnal Designs while at WWD Magic. Nokturnal is a priceless wooden watch made from 100 percent wood and featured with a Japanese quartz movement. They offer a perfect blend of high fashion, natures truest form with a classic look. A one year limited warranty is standard on every watch they sell. Nokturnal has four styles. One I will go into is the Maple. It’s a hardwood that ranges in color from gold to off white. Many can say they have seen maple being typically a straight grain in maple but waviness isn’t uncommon. It’s mostly as odoriess wood that has been used for hundreds of years in everything from buildings to watches!IMG_20180213_111636

With a lifespan of 300 years and over 200 species it’s a no brainer why Nokturnal picked Maple to be one of the four designs for those of the Fashion and nature world to pick from. To see the other three of four go to www.Nokturnalwatches.com

Mr. Black Tie visits Sourcing at WWD Magic Goes on a Walk London

walkonlondon22
One of the finest Brit Family in the business of making, not just GREAT quality shoes for the gents on the go; But well done in creativity and style as well. I had a blast interviewing these gentlemen about their passion, and how family traditions, and family value means everything to them in their business! I have to admit I was shocked that they weren’t at Tent or Project. Walk London shouldn’t be just a booth in the back, which they were.

20180214_122953halfIf anyone has been to Sourcing at Magic it’s stupid big. How many shoes and designs can there be? You’d be bloody shocked of the amount of shoes that are there lol. I rarely go into Sourcing for that damn reason lol. But I saw something that caught my eye at the media room for the press. Walk London’s flyer; It was simple yet, it was stylish. I also meet one of the three partners for Walk London. WALK2

He Simply told me he was one out of three, him, his brother, and his father designs shoes for men. I said I would come by and check it out. And I’m glad I did. I had a story for the day! These are shoe’s that Zappos should have on their website. Seriously Walk London should be in the center of the what’s what, and the must shoes for men. You should have at least one pair of these unique styles in your closet. Don’t get me wrong who don’t like a pair of Nikes or my choice of sneaker Adidas. But as my mum once told me, “A man should have that one Tie that just says everything about himself.” Such is a thought and I feel about a man’s shoes. See more of these great looking shoes www.walklondonshoes.co.uk/ plus see the video of interview right here below .

Keepers Clothing (Austin, TX ) Don’t Be just another Ducky in the Pond.!

205651_214865061860639_5393555_n

The average look isn’t in anymore, no longer the plain shirts or boring ass ties and un-stylish jeans. large-post-content-text”>means go fucking beyond Levis and Dickies ). The look for the men of fashion, which goes for those who are not gay as well lol!

201507_214865051860640_2431577_o

The look that is in now is the dashing look of poise and grace. The jacket to be is the ubiquitous, two-button jacket and neat, sleek, white pocket squares are the perfect look for the new season. Another look that is soooo making it’s way is a must, the spread collar shirts, especially those with designs, they go well with solid suits jacket without the ties.Yet a solid, vibrant tie does goes well with nice creased slacks, gives the sharp, elegant look for a gent on the move, yet conservative enough for the work place and hot enough to simply put on a sports jacket and would be ready to go out clubbing..205651_214865055193973_4038100_n

Oh yes, this New Years fashion for men is going to be smashing very much indeed.
You can’t go wrong with International Designers Giani Manzoni (fantastic value for made in Italy) Ermenegildo Zegna formal wear second to none. (In my opinion) also Italo Ferretti and Brioni which many don’t know, these are all tailored formal wear. Now with such includes Eton formal shirts to Carrot and Gibbs bow ties and vests, and shoe designs by Cole Hahn, Bruno Magil and my favorite To Boot New York. If one must even go to step up stairs on the fashion food chain keeper of Austin, TX have em. Brioni, Jhane Barnes, Emenegildo Zegna and of course Versace. If your going to go all out with your fashion taste and style.201507_214865058527306_584784_o

Do it with Keepers of Austin, “Keepers also have something for the adventuring Gentlemen as well. For those who are casual and sporty, once again Emenegildo Zegna this time sport wear (Reside the master’s of fashion) Tailorbyrd sports shirts, A.G Premium Denim, HITL, Burberry, and another favorite of mine, Robert Garhan and Lorenzini. Keeper’s hip, stylish, accessible, you’ll look like you’ve spent a million bucks on yourself, but in truth you’ll spend slightly less. The best part they are open from 10 am to 6 pm, 6 days a week. And if you need a private session, other hours for an appointment is available. Since 1995 they’ve been dedicated to making gentlemen looking good.
