Mr. Black Tie talks with Vegenation Downtown Las Vegas

616 E Carson Ave Suite #120
Las Vegas, NV 89101
(702) 366 8515

imag2127Meeting Chef Donald wasn’t just educational it was inspiring! From the kitchens of some of New York’s finest restaurant kitchens like Le Bernardin, the Quilted Giraffe and The Sign of the Dove. But what shocks me the most is that Chef Donald has been the executive chef for Park Avalon Restaurant in New York City, imag2134the James Hotel and Mondian in Scottsdale, Arizona. His 30 year of experience is simply impressive.
What really was inspiring to me besides Chef Donald’s experience, was that four years ago or so, he was diagnosed with ‘Multiple Myeloma’, a form of bone narrow cancer. With him being diagnosed he decided to change his entire life style. Which is where Vegenation comes into play. A straight plant based way of eating. Talking to Chef Donald and his Creative Director of Vegenation Kelly Bennett, oh by the way did I mention how both of them have good energy vibes? Chef Donald went on about how fresh global street food style cuisines can make you feel pretty damn good. Lol. Kelly Bennett also said vegenation is 100% plant based, while going good for the environment and supporting local farms here in Las Vegas.
IMAG2133-1020x574Myself and my The Socialite DJ had the opportunity to taste vegenations very best. One of my favorites was the Hot Tamale. Which is organic masa, pumpkin green chili, and lentils. Another dish was their Mushroom Madness Pizza with Daiya cheese, assorted mushrooms and herbs. Naked City Pizza is in trouble. LOL. But what got me truly hanging out with Chef Donald and Kelly was their coffee, OMG! Seriously I had both styles Fair Trade Organic Peru and Fair Trade Organic Sunatra from Frankly Good Coffee in Bender City, NV.
Well there was more that we had, but you’ll either have to go visit Vegenation in person (616 E Carson Ave, Suite #120) or tune into MBT Radio for Coffee Grounds to hear about the rest!

The Socialite DJ and Mr. Black Tie visits Brio Tahiti Village

1470175026682I first heard about Brio as we were walking through Town Square making hits. Walking up in my head I knew how this would play out. The chances of them wanting a DJ were slim to none. But I went for it anyways. As I thought no. But I didn’t loose hope, because the head guy wasn’t there yet!
Fast forward some time ahead and Mr. Black Tie lets me know that a gentlemen at Brio wants to meet us. I was like okay cool, but it was the one in Tahiti Village. I’d never been there so I didn’t know what was going on. img_20160802_135051Once we got there I loved the neighborhood. Though it was far but really pretty. The gentlemen that we were set to meet wasn’t there that day. But the apparently gave instructions to for us to be treated.
Me not knowing exactly what that meant still loved the way it sounded. Lol. Then we were seated. Mr. Black Tie and I made sure that we knew what was going on first. Lol But we then found out that the manager there had invited us to come out and have a plate. I thought that was really cool. I mean, I’ve never been invited by the managers or any for me to just come out and eat. Majority of the restaurants that we go to are for radio, or DJing and things like that. But to be invited to the restaurant and a really nice one at that; That was a really cool moment for me.I had the pleasures of enjoying a grilled salmon with asparagus and sweet potatoes with a sweet glass of wine. And for desert a Crème Brule!img_20160802_144239
I mean, I was eating foods that I honestly only heard of on movies and T.V. So, it was cool to be living a part of a dream that I have often. Lol Thank you Ed at Brio in Tahiti Village! The food was awesome, the service was outstanding, and we had a really great time sir.

Wow, Being Resident DJ at Firkin on Paradise Was An Awesome Moment Indeed!

sir2

It lasted longer than I thought it was going to be, but being pretty close to the place I began DJing, Rumors Hotel and Boutique where I started, well it was pretty neat for me. I have been been a resident DJ for a few places, but then I actually just started this DJing thang and it is soooo different from radio, way different. Anyways, life seems to be going really fast for me lol, but that’s a good thing. I want to be in a situation where I’m playing for more upscale clients and bigger places. I want the bigger clubs lol. I do think I can handle it, just give me the chance. I can play jazz, actually I Have a style that I call Liquid…. It’s a mix of jazz and eclectic music from around the world. I play it all the time on my show, Liquid Rain Drops. I’m going to miss Firkin On Paradise but I want more freedom of the way I play… I didn’t get that there. Sadly enough, they let me promote to my listeners what I play and then when it was time to play, they told me no, play rock instead of what was told lol. The worst part was that I did newsletters promoting what I was playing at Firkin On Paradise! Here is that newsletter:132050_489534474402424_341323394_o

So as you can see, Latin Night was on Saturday but the problem was even after it was already printed and they new this, Tony, the owner approved it. I printed over several hundred copies out and well, I was told to play rock! It was really was hurtful but it was their money and well, when we played rock, most of my little following that I had, left, expecting Latin.. But it is their money, right? So what was I supposed to do? Worst part is, after that they came at me and said they were not happy lol! Ughhhh! The world of DJing, that’s business though. Anyway, I did enjoy Finkin on Paradise but I do want a better place and bigger!!!

Elephant Bar Addison Texas ..

The most sought out exotic food and drink bar that is living up to its name is Elephant Bar. Serving the adventurous taste of the Safari with an elephant-sized dinner, both plates and drinks are huge in size and in flavor. They offer appetizers such as the Wok-Seared Pan Asian Chicken and Lettuce Wrap, which comes with stir-fried chopped chicken, mouth-watering chestnuts, roasted cashews and toasted coconut flakes, and is served with tropical fruit and (my favorite) salsa with marinated cucumbers and crisp chilled lettuce. You yourself wrap it up your own way and style-and that’s just one of the tasty appetizers Elephant Bar has to serve.

elephantbarI myself enjoyed the Braised Lamb Shanks, which could possibly be the very best. This dish included two large fork tender Lamb Shanks in a Sauce of Roasted Garlic, Tomatoes and Rosemary, along with fresh Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Sautéed Vegetables. The experience was just unbelievably satisfying.

My friend preferred a variety of a meat and seafood dinner, so she ate the Tri-Tip Sirloin and BBQ Shrimp, which was U.S.D.A. Choice Sirloin, fire-grilled and sliced to order with Grilled Onions and Fresh Mushrooms, accompanied with Kona BBQ Shrimp, fire grilled and double basted. The dish was served with White Steamed Rice, with Ranch Beans and Salsa, which she adored very much.

Elephant 2

But what truly impressed us both after such a delightful tasty dinner was the infamous popular Jungle Colada, including Pineapple Juice, Ice Cream, Coconut, Passion Raspberry, and Cream, and mixed into Whaler’s Dark and White Rum, topped with Whipped Cream and Toasted Coconuts. A taste of exotic drinks truly represents the adventure of exotic taste. Oh, and what’s truly cool about the Jungle Colada is that it can be served with alcohol or without. Elephant Bar is definitely a place for the entire family or a great place to take a friend or two.

Leaving Creativity Flow at “The Nos” The Caffeine Radio Pushes Forward

When I first thought  about working at The New Orleans I had a different concept of social content. I wanted to give it a new look, something to be proud  of as well.
me105

I wanted to show people there as well as those who might want to come there something creative and something to feed off. Well, given what the area is usually known for, people wanted to see The New Orleans Square in a different view from what it use to be known for. Reason why I was hired, to do social media and content . It was great I had  a studio there, which was part of the deal.

19488512_1387648304616511_8483267056853910286_o

So I began to create content for The New Orleans square which I began to call “The Nos”. It could’ve been a great project!!

I figured visuals would be better than any content. Even though it would be more time consuming than anything else. Have you ever have to edit any kind of video? It takes foreverrrr. lol But I knew if this vid thing would work for New Orleans Square id have something  concrete for the social feed spree to view. Which seemed to be growing everyday. The people wanted more! But  any way, as I did this  the boss wasn’t to pleased. He didn’t like “The Nos”, he had issues with the videos; I was shocked and was like umm ok. He changed up the deal we had and well, I just figured this isn’t going to work. I see he didn’t hold the same vision as I did. Funny though, they’re doing a little videos here and there, and still using the term “The Nos”. nos1

I think New Orleans Square is a really cool spot, I believe there is a fit there for artists if the New Orleans Square can bring those creative  art types. But then again those who would love to be part of that live 24/7 as artists. They just don’t shut it down at night lol. Real artists are about living in their lifestyle. They breathe art, they become the art itself sometimes. Through writings, photos, and paint to what ever he or she choses to. I gave my very best to New Orleans Square. More than to my fiancé at the time. (Which is sad to admit). I practically lived there. Just to make sure “The Nos” was given the attention needed to bring life to a unique community that works there! artcenter1

I learned a lot form being there. That I need to get focused on my personal life as well as the career. Working for the New Orleans Square has taught me that one mess isn’t another’s admirations. lol But in the time of having a studio at the New Orleans Square I have figured out so much about myself. From my wants to desire’s which I have found out that they’re two different things. lol My wants are just to make my writing a career and producing thing a success. My DESIRE IS TO BE ONE OF THE VERY BEST in the DJ industry. I get it now. Which I have to say no regrets on the mistakes I have made. But I do have regrets if I have hurt anyone in the process.  mr1101

Oscar’s Steak House Interview Chef Martell with Mr.BlackTie !

I have learned so much from this interview about Steak and Latin Cusine !

Oscar’s Steakhouse

Named after former Las Vegas Mayor and mob attorney Oscar Goodman, Oscar’s is a glamorous and uniquely Las Vegas Steakhouse overlooking the lights of Fremont Street. Located inside the Plaza’s of the iconic glass dome, Oscar’s pays homage to the Vegas of yesteryear and has become a must-visit, only-in-Vegas dining destination thanks to its classic ambiance, memorabilia displays, handcrafted cocktails, including the former mayor’s signature martini, and a delicious menu of perfectly aged steaks, fresh seafood and made from scratch sides.

Carrying over Goodman’s reputation as the “Happiest Mayor in the Universe,” Oscar’s affectionately boasts itself as “The Happiest Steakhouse in the Universe.” The approach to food and service at Oscar’s is the same as Goodman’s approach to life – eat, drink and have fun!  But Meeting The Chef who At 16, Chef Jeffrey Martell took a job in a local seafood restaurant in New Jersey, looking for some extra spending money. Instead, he fell in love and found his passion for food. He followed that passion all over the United States and built a career based on attention to detail, creativity and excellence in execution.

Martell attended the Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, New Jersey. After completing his culinary education, he worked for a restaurant company, refining his style and expanding his approach in restaurants throughout the country, including at Nick’s Fishmarket in Chicago, Nick’s inside the five-diamond, five-star Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia, and Sarentos on the Beach at the Boca Raton Resort and Club.

He then moved to Las Vegas, where he helped open the Resort at Summerlin (later renamed the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa and Rampart Casino) as the Executive Sous Chef for the steakhouse. From there, he moved to the Orleans Casino, where he worked with former Chefs of the Year Christopher Johns and Larry Chumley.

After meeting his wife, Martell relocated to Florida for three years, serving as Executive Chef of the Pilot House in Key Largo. He and his wife then came back to Las Vegas, and he served as Assistant Executive Chef at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. He also began teaching at a local culinary school and became an active supporter and board member of Chefs for Kids, an organization helping the at-risk children of Southern Nevada. Martell’s work with Chefs for Kids as well as with various diversity initiatives and employee events at Excalibur earned him the recognition as a finalist for Volunteer of the Year for MGM Resorts International. Most recently, Martell was recognized as the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Las Vegas Chef of the Year for 2011.

Chef Martell brings his renowned culinary experience and community commitment to Oscar’s Beef · Booze · Broads where he prepares some of Oscar Goodman’s favorite recipes and the best steaks in Downtown Las Vegas. But you don’t have to take my word for it ! check it out for yourself ! Mr.BlackTie

Mr.BlackTie Goes Timeless with a Blend of Nature with NokTurnal at WWD Magic ..Project

Spice101While DJing at some very cool spots at downtown locations such as Bonze Café at the Market to new sensation Eureka!; I had the Pleasure of getting a glimpse of Nokturnal Designs while at WWD Magic. Nokturnal is a priceless wooden watch made from 100 percent wood and featured with a Japanese quartz movement. They offer a perfect blend of high fashion, natures truest form with a classic look. A one year limited warranty is standard on every watch they sell. Nokturnal has four styles. One I will go into is the Maple. It’s a hardwood that ranges in color from gold to off white. Many can say they have seen maple being typically a straight grain in maple but waviness isn’t uncommon. It’s mostly as odoriess wood that has been used for hundreds of years in everything from buildings to watches!IMG_20180213_111636

With a lifespan of 300 years and over 200 species it’s a no brainer why Nokturnal picked Maple to be one of the four designs for those of the Fashion and nature world to pick from. To see the other three of four go to www.Nokturnalwatches.com

Keepers Clothing (Austin, TX ) Don’t Be just another Ducky in the Pond.!

205651_214865061860639_5393555_n

The average look isn’t in anymore, no longer the plain shirts or boring ass ties and un-stylish jeans. large-post-content-text”>means go fucking beyond Levis and Dickies ). The look for the men of fashion, which goes for those who are not gay as well lol!

201507_214865051860640_2431577_o

The look that is in now is the dashing look of poise and grace. The jacket to be is the ubiquitous, two-button jacket and neat, sleek, white pocket squares are the perfect look for the new season. Another look that is soooo making it’s way is a must, the spread collar shirts, especially those with designs, they go well with solid suits jacket without the ties.Yet a solid, vibrant tie does goes well with nice creased slacks, gives the sharp, elegant look for a gent on the move, yet conservative enough for the work place and hot enough to simply put on a sports jacket and would be ready to go out clubbing..205651_214865055193973_4038100_n

Oh yes, this New Years fashion for men is going to be smashing very much indeed.
You can’t go wrong with International Designers Giani Manzoni (fantastic value for made in Italy) Ermenegildo Zegna formal wear second to none. (In my opinion) also Italo Ferretti and Brioni which many don’t know, these are all tailored formal wear. Now with such includes Eton formal shirts to Carrot and Gibbs bow ties and vests, and shoe designs by Cole Hahn, Bruno Magil and my favorite To Boot New York. If one must even go to step up stairs on the fashion food chain keeper of Austin, TX have em. Brioni, Jhane Barnes, Emenegildo Zegna and of course Versace. If your going to go all out with your fashion taste and style.201507_214865058527306_584784_o

Do it with Keepers of Austin, “Keepers also have something for the adventuring Gentlemen as well. For those who are casual and sporty, once again Emenegildo Zegna this time sport wear (Reside the master’s of fashion) Tailorbyrd sports shirts, A.G Premium Denim, HITL, Burberry, and another favorite of mine, Robert Garhan and Lorenzini. Keeper’s hip, stylish, accessible, you’ll look like you’ve spent a million bucks on yourself, but in truth you’ll spend slightly less. The best part they are open from 10 am to 6 pm, 6 days a week. And if you need a private session, other hours for an appointment is available. Since 1995 they’ve been dedicated to making gentlemen looking good. How to Love A Black Woman

kingher105

When You Love a Black Woman ..You cant come like a Nigga ..lol You cant come strong demanding shit .You come correct , Upgrade you Style and Attitude ( remember Im talking about a Black Woman ) Not a ride to die Bitch ,A Black Woman Needs YOU  to come with Wisdom and Understanding, she doesnt need you for Dick she can that anywhere and anytime she wants it.b03b3

As I said Im talking about Loving  A Black Woman. Her smiles lights up the Heavens, Her touch sends unknowing Sensations through the universe. She isnt Gehtto ,Nor  a Hoe , She has made Mistakes ..she has been Mis Used  and lied about. Called many words no Woman should be called. She isnt a Queen .But Has Been Long ago .queen1

But Understand this Her Morther’s Mother’s has Been  before her Was, even some was Worshiped as a Goddess. This is who you Lay with when Giving the opportunity. b07bl6

When you are allowed to Kiss such Sweetness between her Beautful Thighs.Know your kissing perfection ..know your kissing the sweet lips of Royalty. Now The Sciene of Loving the Black Woman.b4

  1. Ask her what she wants from you before you take things to the next level.  Here’s why making love is a grown man’s game; if a woman wants a commitment and you’re not ready for that, move on. (There are plenty of females out there who are willing to play around.) Don’t hang around and lie to a woman just to “get it.” In the end, she’ll hate you and you’ll hate yourself.b7
  2. Earn her trust.  What does earning her trust mean? It means that before you enter her bed, demonstrate that you’re reliable. Keep your word to her. If you fuck up, apologize and atone to restore the trust. If your woman trusts you, she will be uninhibited in bed. Guaranteed.b02
  3. Talk to her often.  If you want sex, send a text. If you want to make love to a Black woman, call her. Pick up the phone and ask, “How was your day?” Your follow-up question should be: “How can I make your day brighter?” If she says flowers will make her day brighter, send them.blackw104
  4. If she says just a few hours of peace will make her day brighter, do something to take a load off her plate.  Your gesture must be genuine; give of yourself and don’t expect anything in return. This will make her fall in love with you.  A woman who is in love with you will be uninhibited in bed. blackw110Guaranteed.blackw101
  5. Curb your tongue. Everyday won’t be filled with butterflies and rainbows. There will be conflict. No matter your rough patch, however, you must never, ever, call a Black woman a degrading name. Do you know how many times a Black woman hears “bitch, ho, slut, thot,” etc., in popular media? Can you imagine how hurtful these words would be for her to hear from a person she loves? Such verbal abuse can kill the soul of a woman. Your Black woman will gradually distrust you, and your lovemaking sessions will eventually morph into passionless sex. blackw105Guaranteed.untitled
  6. Be prepared to please your Black woman. You will have to learn what she likes. Don’t bring another woman’s favorite moves into her bedroom. Taking the time to learn her erogenous zones will prompt her to do the same.

At this stage, your minds, bodies and souls will bond in the bedroom and beyond. Making love when you’re in love is the best thing ever . By FreedomMercado surefuck101
