imag2127Meeting Chef Donald wasn’t just educational it was inspiring! From the kitchens of some of New York’s finest restaurant kitchens like Le Bernardin, the Quilted Giraffe and The Sign of the Dove. But what shocks me the most is that Chef Donald has been the executive chef for Park Avalon Restaurant in New York City, imag2134the James Hotel and Mondian in Scottsdale, Arizona. His 30 year of experience is simply impressive.
What really was inspiring to me besides Chef Donald’s experience, was that four years ago or so, he was diagnosed with ‘Multiple Myeloma’, a form of bone narrow cancer. With him being diagnosed he decided to change his entire life style. Which is where Vegenation comes into play. A straight plant based way of eating. Talking to Chef Donald and his Creative Director of Vegenation Kelly Bennett, oh by the way did I mention how both of them have good energy vibes? Chef Donald went on about how fresh global street food style cuisines can make you feel pretty damn good. Lol. Kelly Bennett also said vegenation is 100% plant based, while going good for the environment and supporting local farms here in Las Vegas.
IMAG2133-1020x574Myself and my The Socialite DJ had the opportunity to taste vegenations very best. One of my favorites was the Hot Tamale. Which is organic masa, pumpkin green chili, and lentils. Another dish was their Mushroom Madness Pizza with Daiya cheese, assorted mushrooms and herbs. Naked City Pizza is in trouble. LOL. But what got me truly hanging out with Chef Donald and Kelly was their coffee, OMG! Seriously I had both styles Fair Trade Organic Peru and Fair Trade Organic Sunatra from Frankly Good Coffee in Bender City, NV.
Well there was more that we had, but you’ll either have to go visit Vegenation in person (616 E Carson Ave, Suite #120) or tune into MBT Radio for Coffee Grounds to hear about the rest!

Inside Style on Main St ..with The Socialite Dj and Mr.BlackTie

When the Abelman family asked Black Smoke to spin for their ‘Take Me Home’ grand sale event October 1, 9am – 1pm, well of course me and The Socialite DJ agreed to do it. We just had to figure out what kind of style of music we were going to spin. We decided to go with electro style with a twist of Deep House and Country! It was a great for the Grand Sale and what excellent way to start the Holiday festivities; A great buy and good music.img_20161001_09263445

So I and The Socialite JD went into the studio shop mood the night before the event. It was a long 7 hours straight. By the time we had the music just right for the event, it was 7am. We had to get ready for the event. Getting all dress and grabbing the gear, speakers and all.

We got to Inside Styles by 8:30am; it didn’t take long to set everything up. The Socialite DJ started it off. I myself went to grab some coffee and have a Cig break. She didn’t go for anything vibing yet just warming things up. But to my surprise customers began to walk in. After The Socialite DJ warmed up, I got behind the tables and started off with electro swing, Bing Crosby to Disney Aladdin, why not?

The sale was called ‘Take Me Home Warehouse Sale’. How can you go wrong with electro swing set style spinning Disney Aladdin? From there The Socialite DJ spun a beautiful set of Deep House, Country swing. From everyone who came seemed to love the style of music that was being played.

Then we did something new to our Black Smoke set, we began to just spin music choices right after each choice. We were playing all styles of swing music, from country swing to deep house. I also spun Latin style sing into the mix. The Socialite DJ followed with country and pop swing. Then we finished with our signature style Liquid Jazz set! By the time it was over there was a few more buyers coming in!

I have learned so much from this interview about Steak and Latin Cusine !

Oscar’s Steakhouse

Named after former Las Vegas Mayor and mob attorney Oscar Goodman, Oscar’s is a glamorous and uniquely Las Vegas Steakhouse overlooking the lights of Fremont Street. Located inside the Plaza’s of the iconic glass dome, Oscar’s pays homage to the Vegas of yesteryear and has become a must-visit, only-in-Vegas dining destination thanks to its classic ambiance, memorabilia displays, handcrafted cocktails, including the former mayor’s signature martini, and a delicious menu of perfectly aged steaks, fresh seafood and made from scratch sides.

Carrying over Goodman’s reputation as the “Happiest Mayor in the Universe,” Oscar’s affectionately boasts itself as “The Happiest Steakhouse in the Universe.” The approach to food and service at Oscar’s is the same as Goodman’s approach to life – eat, drink and have fun!  But Meeting The Chef who At 16, Chef Jeffrey Martell took a job in a local seafood restaurant in New Jersey, looking for some extra spending money. Instead, he fell in love and found his passion for food. He followed that passion all over the United States and built a career based on attention to detail, creativity and excellence in execution.

Martell attended the Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, New Jersey. After completing his culinary education, he worked for a restaurant company, refining his style and expanding his approach in restaurants throughout the country, including at Nick’s Fishmarket in Chicago, Nick’s inside the five-diamond, five-star Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia, and Sarentos on the Beach at the Boca Raton Resort and Club.

Most recently, Martell was recognized as the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Las Vegas Chef of the Year for 2011.

Chef Martell brings his renowned culinary experience and community commitment to Oscar’s Beef · Booze · Broads where he prepares some of Oscar Goodman’s favorite recipes and the best steaks in Downtown Las Vegas. But you don’t have to take my word for it ! check it out for yourself ! Mr.BlackTie

873_1512674556166
After a few celeberties bringing in the outs of urban fashion to hippie smooth styles. Such as these two master musicians Kanye West and Pharelle. They both are ahead of most in music s well in fashion trends too.169860_184266021587210_4020160_o
I myself have to admit, I’m looking forward to Agenda, Mrket, Project, Magic, Stitched, to see where men’s fashion is going for 2016! I’m starting to get into more of image of DJing fashion.Yest there is that due to the fact, I do fashion editorials and photo shoots. I also do talk radio, and I DJ on the side. In Sin City nad well in the entertainment field. Image is everything. So I gotta get into the fashion world 37451_137393086274504_1800276_n

Which means more moments on the bod trim. About to do this thing with Jerry Anderson. Fitness Guru, master of body sculpting for any fashion designer color is key.Yea’rs ago, many designers went classic black and white.37451_137393089607837_3297479_n
That time is making it’s way back. Into a world of fashion movement of bright colors. Once they mix into fashion (mainly for men) was 50% in color. Now it’s 35% black, 15% charcol, and 40% color. Making fashion for mens wear more exciting than ever!

In Thinking…

heart1I seem to be wanting to do things or better yet say things simple today. I dont want to go into such harsh details of why i think my life sucks for the moment. In other words I dont want to simply bitch just to bitch.

I see now that I do have many friends on here and in so ummm i think it’s; time to cam03531see who relates to my sort of  thought process. To a great extent, the people whom I have chossen to associate influence the direction of my life. Which I must thank for all the enlightenment, due to thier thoughts and beliefs. I have become stronger within myself. I think and behave within my boundaries of beliefs. Which to many might think Omg someone save that poor lad! But I have figured out or better see that the key is to fulfilling my potenial without anykind of limitations.fyi103
I know understand me, my desires are the same for me as my will power to move forward. From my sexuality to spirituality. I know now that If i master my beliefs I master my mind.sex106

I have learn so much about myself , espically my weakness. Which is just going off the freaking mouth and ripping whom ever walks into my path. Yet I have learn much from my friends on here, Lecia Smiley Wint, Goddess Trudyann Ewan, JoJo Meadows, Haze Dead Vegas. These are just some of the people who have been through my madness and seen the crazd ass brit going off on the world. Actually Jeannie Engel Paparone is someone new who;her103 i have brought to my world she is making me healther in body. Which makes me more fit in the mind and spirit which makes me stronger in the soul as well. I have lost two really good people on here friends such as Misty Gaddy and Rochell Robbsion, two awesome ladies, and well nothing i can bloody do about it now. I See now the two sides of the coin ,which can be distinct yet inseparable, my live has a physical, tangible dimension and spiritual, which is a intangible one.
For me it is, many might say we differentiate between body and and mind. But logically look deep into it all it’s fundamental level, the Mind, Body, Soul, Heart and Spirit are inseparable. For those who might be shocked to see me writing this, let me simple it for you, if your in need of more than fucking someone, start holding his or hands it’s a bloody start. If your in aqueen101 emotional stats with him or her, make it a physical one, making love to just fucking, you choose. It’s not fair for one to get one while the other isnt geting anything out of it. Women you are really good at doing this to men. lol I know, enough is enough. There need to be a balance. Danielle too sassy figure it out, I don’t want to go over this anymore i love you. I need balance! I always believed one should develop a broad compassion that reaches beyond your surroundings and extends to those you care about. My mother taught me to believe in noble men and women and learn from them. I also believe in wisdom of other’s but when can learn from within i believe one is enlightened. To open ones mind is to simply think of possibilities. So this is where i stand and believe in… This is where I go and move forward. Much love to everyone.
