Mr. Black Tie & The Socialite DJ at the Grand Opening for Juan Muniz at Z Boutique in Zappos Headquarters Las Vegas

zapposThe very first day I met Juan Muniz was a week after I became the resident DJ for the Arts Factory Bar & Bistro. I t was also my first Friday DJing event as well. Juan Muniz introduced me to not just himself but his character Felipe. One thing about Juan Muniz, is he is an artists who is focused. Which I have met countless of them) that had or do have the talent, but no motivation, no path, no focused point. But Juan had, and still has the same path that he’s been on. Focused point on his art work, and character Felipe. Funny we kept bumping into each other, throughout the years. First Fridays I’d see him at his booth. Doing his Felipe book. While myself DJing First Friday on other gigs.1470337292976

Once in a while you wonder and think and ask, “Am I really making progress?” Well Juan Muniz did something unusual for artists and had a great grand opening of Felipe at the Z Boutique at Zappos. It was incredible seeing what had happened for him. The coolest part, I have to say was DJing for him. Juan Muniz is focused on his path. I’m proud to have known him before all the Felipe crazed. LOL. We will see each other once more! Until then.

While at the very first Licensing Expo Mr. Black Tie learned about name branding and the choices one needs to make into making it possible. Not just the branding but a worthy brand name that is well respected and self-worthy of importance that will make it a successful investment. There were many good moments till the next expo. “I skipped the 2016 expo to be ready for the next one. Which I did come strong and well I was ready for what was there. I had the right crew ready to perform at the very best of what I had to offer. I knew The AM Show could be a big, but great gamble and well worth the investment. If done right with the right people.” Mr. Black Tie recalls.art-am-logo

“The AM Show, “Art and Music” I know this could be that one show that makes everything flow just right!” Everyone knows when growing up, there will be pain and struggles and every artist knows that goes with the territory of being an artist. Such is the term “struggling artists” lol. All artists, from writers, painters, cartoonists, to musicians, as well photographers, singers and poets understand where that terms comes from. The licensing expo teaches you how to have viewer’s grow with your show as we get more interviews and deeper into concepts. So, will his viewer’s that watch the show. “I’m targeting a certain kind of breed; Creative and talented people. People who dare to dream and then share it with the world sometimes telling a story, other times just doing it for shock value.” Says Mr. Black Tie.

“In ways, I want The AM Show to be just that too, shock value.” Explains Mr. Black Tie. The AM Show will have a great mix up of things. Sometimes it is entertaining but it is also educating others. “I want it to be something I can live off of course.” Laughs Mr. Black Tie. With it’s very underground style way of covering the art and music scenes in Vegas

Oscar’s Steakhouse

Named after former Las Vegas Mayor and mob attorney Oscar Goodman, Oscar’s is a glamorous and uniquely Las Vegas Steakhouse overlooking the lights of Fremont Street. Located inside the Plaza’s of the iconic glass dome, Oscar’s pays homage to the Vegas of yesteryear and has become a must-visit, only-in-Vegas dining destination thanks to its classic ambiance, memorabilia displays, handcrafted cocktails, including the former mayor’s signature martini, and a delicious menu of perfectly aged steaks, fresh seafood and made from scratch sides.

Carrying over Goodman’s reputation as the “Happiest Mayor in the Universe,” Oscar’s affectionately boasts itself as “The Happiest Steakhouse in the Universe.” The approach to food and service at Oscar’s is the same as Goodman’s approach to life – eat, drink and have fun!  But Meeting The Chef who At 16, Chef Jeffrey Martell took a job in a local seafood restaurant in New Jersey, looking for some extra spending money.
